Invoice Preparation is an independent reference project about preparing a clear invoice and checking its arithmetic before it is sent.
What this project provides
It explains the fields of a basic invoice, a repeatable numbering approach, line descriptions, discount calculations and the checks to make before sending. Worked examples are deliberately small enough to verify by hand.
What it does not provide
It is not a law firm, tax practice, accounting service or payment processor. It does not issue invoices, collect payment, store customer records or decide tax treatment for your jurisdiction.
Editorial approach
Examples are labelled as fictional. We avoid inventing company registrations, tax rules, prices, customer counts or testimonials. Where a requirement depends on local law or a contract, the page says so.
